The discussion will highlight Baltimore City’s Civilian Review Board and the need for effective community oriented policing. We are striving to create a platform for healthy discourse that will bridge the gap between law enforcement, policy makers and the community.
At this town hall, you’ll have the opportunity to not only interact with the panel guest about the aforementioned topics, but discuss the panelist positions’ on them, and give criticism and suggestions on how they can be improved.
The town hall is about a two hour time commitment. Confirmed panelists include Councilman Brandon Scott, Vanguard Justice Society President Kenneth Butler, and attorney J. Wyndal Gordon. We will also be inviting Lieutenant Colonel Melvin Russell of the Community Partnership Division, FOP President Gene Ryan, David Rocah of the ACLU, and Community Relations Council President Joyce Green to participate as well.
