As the marijuana policy landscape continues to change throughout the country, California is gearing up to introduce a tax and regulate system, hopefully in 2016. As part of this effort, Drug Policy Alliance is hosting three symposium in California to address issues related to marijuana regulation that are important to California citizens, farmers, social justice advocates and public health professionals. Our hope is to open a dialogue about what marijuana legalization means for California, and how we can create a system of regulation that will benefit the state and those who live here.
The first symposium, Marijuana Regulation and Public Health. Diane will be on a panel about the impact that legalization of marijuana will have on California. This will be the last panel of the day and will be a chance to translate the presentations of those from CO and WA into what this means for CA.
