Reducing Harm: Law Enforcement, Public Health, and Safety Interventions
This panel will examine relationship-building between the four stakeholder communities that create and inform drug policy: public health, law enforcement, prevention and treatment professionals, and harm reductionists. Further questions to be examined are: what role can law enforcement play in drug policy if drug possession for personal use is no longer criminalized? What is ‘treatment on demand’, how can we learn from Summit View, the only treatment on demand facility in CO?
