Main Fear is Not an American Value and Neither is Ignorance ( 879 reads) Tuesday, March 04, 2008 (17:21:27)

...Well, it didn’t used to be. Sadly, our people have succumbed to and have been led to cowering to taught fear mongering and mind conditioning to the point that common sense and reality are not allowed in analyzing or justifying our policies. Common sense and reality are intentionally removed from any discussion. WHY?

When did we start to refuse to accept reality, or stop demanding accountability based on facts and logic and the truth? If you take away the fear mongering and self serving agendas and biases of those who still support this failure known as the War On Drugs, and require only history, facts, truth, logic and common sense be used, none of these can justify this disgusting known failure. Nor can it support their tainted self serving beliefs, agendas and position!

Case in point, next time you’re having a discussion about this issue, ask these questions:

1. It’s been 35+ years of the longest war in our country’s history, (a war against our own sons and daughters) while robbing taxpayers of over a trillion dollars, while stripping the freedom and rights of us all. We, the supposed freest nation on earth have more people behind bars than any other country on earth! Is attacking a home with a trained paramilitary unit, knowing children are inside acceptable? Is it acceptable to terrorize, traumatize and even kill Americans of all ages – those innocent and those not proven guilty in a court of law? IF we have been using the right tools and following the right path, would not history, facts, logic and common sense dictate that the need for these Un-American military tactics, should all be going down, not up? And yet we continually hear about the biggest drug busts ever. Day after day, year after year.

2. Knowing the reality that there is not a prison or a jail on this planet, much less in our country, that has been able to keep drugs out of them! How realistic is it to even fathom a policy claiming its goal is to keep them out of our country, schools, homes, and away from our children? Are we so stupid and full of fear that we are willing to give up all our freedoms and liberties, and those of all who follow us, to turn our nation into one giant prison? Knowing in the end it will not work?

During this election time, you will hear the same old fear mongering in attempt to get elected or re-elected. You know, tough on drugs and crime, it’s for our people and children! You might want to look at the reality, which is that this disgusting policy is removing the freedoms and liberties of all of us, while terrorizing, traumatizing and killing many innocent and supposed guilty. These are the very same people and children you claim to be serving and protecting! But hey, many of them are demons and if we scare the children enough they will be afraid to follow in their demon parent’s footsteps. And after all, it’s for their own good, right? Sound like America to you? I call BULL SHIT!
